1. What this is
The Daily Oracle is a daily-ritual divination web app. Each day it produces three things: (a) a reflective fortune, (b) a set of numbers within the bounds of real lottery games, and (c) a single “market sign” composed from classical astrological aspects between today’s planetary positions and a security’s first-trade chart.
This is entertainment and self-reflection. It is not financial, investment, legal, medical, tax, or other professional advice. It does not improve the odds of any random draw. Nothing here is a guarantee of any outcome.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to create an account or purchase a subscription. Anyone may read the journal and the marketing pages freely.
Where lotteries are referenced, you are responsible for determining whether playing such lotteries is legal in your jurisdiction. We display number sets within the real bounds of named games; we do not sell tickets and we do not facilitate gambling.
3. Your account
You may sign in with an email address; we send a one-time magic link. You are responsible for keeping access to that email. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, including abusive access patterns, scraping, and any attempt to bypass paid-tier entitlements.
4. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation
The free tier is free of charge. The paid Plus and Pro tiers are recurring monthly subscriptions billed by our payment processor (Stripe / Paddle / Lemon Squeezy, whichever is configured at the time).
- Cancel anytime, one click — from the Hall, open Billing → Manage subscription.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds in the middle of a period.
- We will refund any clearly-erroneous charge — double bills, charges after a cancellation, or charges to an account you did not authorise — on request.
- Free-trial conversions, if offered, are clearly disclosed at sign-up and can be cancelled before the first charge.
- Prices may change. We will notify subscribers at least thirty days before a change takes effect; if you do not accept, you may cancel before the next charge.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- abuse the API, scrape the site at unreasonable rates, or attempt to bypass the engine entitlement gate;
- resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the proprietary lottery and astrology engines;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation;
- use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
- upload malicious content, attempt to compromise the security of the site, or interfere with its operation;
- represent the Oracle’s output as professional advice of any kind.
6. Content & intellectual property
You retain all rights to anything you write to us — messages, contact-form submissions, feedback. We do not claim ownership of your readings: they are yours; you can export them at any time.
The site content, code, copy, brand, logo, and the proprietary engines are © The Daily Oracle and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may quote short excerpts of journal content with attribution and a link back; you may not reproduce the engines, the database, the brand mark, or substantial portions of the journal without our written permission.
7. Disclaimers
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
The Oracle’s output is for entertainment only. We make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Readings, fortunes, market signs, and lucky-number sets are all entertainment and do not constitute professional advice of any kind.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.
Neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Some jurisdictions do not allow this limitation; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site. We will tell you promptly of any such claim and cooperate reasonably in its defence.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the Hall. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with prior notice where reasonable. On termination, you lose access to paid features at the end of the paid period; your data is erased per the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; we’ll publish the change here with the date at the top and notify signed-in users of material changes. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law & venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Daily Oracle is based (set in Customizer → Organisation). Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms removes consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
13. General
If any part of these terms is held to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.
